The Journal does not accept manuscripts that have been published previously or are under consideration by other journals. Authors must ensure that their submissions are original and not redundant, meaning that they do not substantially overlap with any previously published work, in print or electronic format. If any portion of the work has appeared elsewhere, authors must clearly disclose this in the cover letter and cite the previous publications. These requirements do not apply to abstracts of conference presentations or short communications shared at scientific meetings.
All submissions are screened for plagiarism using recognized detection tools, and manuscripts with significant similarity may be rejected during peer review. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, JAHMS may issue a correction or retract the article as appropriate. The journal reserves the right to notify the authors’ institutions in cases of ethical violations. To maintain academic integrity, authors are expected to keep the overall similarity of their manuscripts within acceptable limits and provide proper attribution to all sources.
